This is a kid friendly article explaining about pill bugs and why they are not insects. Use in conjunction with Lesson 9.

Information about snails in brief snippets with links to activity sheets, poems and songs. Use for further information about snails around lesson 7.
Site Name: Bugs are Awesome (webquest for primary students)

This is a primary level webquest with links to information sites such as Enchanted Learning (diagrams of the pill bug/sow bug and millipede) and with video clips. Use this for an extension activity around lessons 9 and 10 about pill bugs, beetles, and millipedes.

This site links to various lesson plans and unit ideas. While some are for intermediate grades "Virtual Pond Dip" and others would be interesting for students in the primary level. Virtual Pond Dip fits nicely with aquarium lessons such as lesson 11. However, there are a broad range of ideas that would fit with this unit.
