3. Lesson set up and Management

Materials:

There is no set-up for this unit. Make sure to save the student-generated lists because you will need to refer back to them in later lessons. Introduce students to student activity books. Remind students that all answers should be written in their science notebooks and not in the activity books. Start the discussion by explaining to students that there will be no right or wrong answers and that it is okay to sometimes say, “I really don’t know”.

Student Management:

This is an individual student assignment where students do their own work. There are no wrong answers.
