Institute Dates, Location, and Fees

Dates
The 2012 STEM Education Leadership Institute will be held Monday, June 25th, 1 p.m. to Friday June 29th, 2 p.m.

Location
The Institute is residential in nature and will be held at the Southcenter DoubleTree Guest Suites in Tukwila, WA.

Clock Hours
45 Clock Hours will be available for participants. The fee will be $75 and we will only be able to accept checks.

Registration Fee
Participating teams will pay a nonrefundable registration fee.

• Basic cost is $5,000 for a team of five members (a grant from Battelle helps offset the cost of the first five team members)
• Additional participants may be added to any team for a fee of $1,500 each
• If you are a small school district of less than 1,000 students, please call Sonia Siegel Vexler at 206-443-2903 to discuss alternative configurations
• Registration fee covers:
  • A private hotel room for each team member
  • Daily breakfast
  • Daily lunch
  • Two dinners
  • All materials and supplies
• Teams are responsible for:
  • Transportation expenses
  • Two dinners
  • Any payment to teachers as required by union contract
• Upon notification of acceptance, teams will be invoiced and payment must be paid to Pacific Science Center prior to the Institute.
