CALLING ALL INFORMAL EDUCATORS
The Pacific Science Center would like to invite you to a day of learning focused on a Framework for K-12 Science Education: Practices, Crosscutting Concepts, and Core Ideas and the Next Generation Science Standards. Join Ellen Ebert, Science Director at the Office of Superintendent for Public Instruction, as she shares her wisdom on these two topics.

GOALS:
Informal educators will:
- Construct an understanding of the anatomy and vision of the Science Frameworks and Next Generation Science Standards.
- Determine where you see your organization within the Science Frameworks and the Next Generation Science Standards.
- Correlate the vision of the Science Frameworks with your organization and the work you do.
- Decide where the Science Frameworks and Next Generation Science Standards represent all learning opportunities.
REGISTRATION FEES:
$35 per person (includes morning snacks, lunch, and instructional materials)
Registration fee is non-refundable and accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your spot will not be guaranteed until we have received your payment.

CLOCK HOURS:
Clock hours will be offered through Washington Science Teachers Association. The cost is $15. Only checks are accepted for clock hour fees; we are not able to accept cash or credit cards.
