Discover what makes instructional materials effective, and examine different ways to analyze instructional materials. Participants will have the opportunity to use the research from How People Learn and other resources to examine the key characteristics of instructional materials, look at and experience inquiry science lessons. Publisher representatives will be present to give participants the opportunity to explore materials at the elementary, middle, and high school level. Whether you are in the process of adopting new materials, or reevaluating materials based on the recent OSPI recommendations, you’ll have the tools to carefully evaluate and use instructional materials. |
