2006/2007 Science Education Advocatacy Award Recipients

2006/2007 was the inaugural year of the Science Education Advocacy Awards.

The 2006/2007 Science Education Advocacy Award was given to two organizations, two individuals and one team.

In addition to receiving recognition at statewide and local events, these five awardees were given $5,000 each to be awarded to the not-for-profit organization or public education entity of their choice for use in its efforts on behalf of science education. The monetary reward as well as funding for the awards process was generously supplied by the Boeing Company.

The five awardees are listed below along with the recipient of their $5,000 donation.
